For protect dried fruits and nuts them from insects and pests:
1) At purchase of dried fruits and nuts check on absence of worms, caterpillars, butterflies, moths or their eggs in nuts and dried fruits;
2) Do not buy dried fruits and nuts for the future (as a reserve);
3) If there is a place in a refrigerator to store dried fruits and nuts, store them in a refrigerator in a paper package.
4) If there is not a constant place in a refrigerator, the first day after purchase put dried fruits and nuts in a deep-freezer section of refrigerator. Next day put in a usual shelf of a refrigerator. Then it is possible to take from a refrigerator and to store on place, where there are no ants and cockroaches. It is not recommended to hold long in a polyethylene package.
