HOW TO REGULATE THE SYSTEM OF IDLE RUN OF CARBURETTOR "OZON" FOR ECONOMY OF FUEL

The system of idling of carburettor "Ozon" for adjustment has two jets and adjusting screws: tuning, qualities, quantities, using with which it is possible to achieve extremely impoverished structure of a mix on the minimum frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft and in a transitive mode. For this purpose find position of the screw of quality at which the maximum frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine is provided for the given invariable position of the screw of quantity. Then, using the quantity screw, lead up it to the value exceeding on 150 rpm - minimum, recommended by manufacturer, and, rotating the quality screw, again try to increase frequency rotation. If thus frequency of rotation has considerably increased, the screw of its quantity reduce to minimum plus of 150 rpm and once again repeat adjustment to find position of the screw of quality, turn from which in both parties will cause, only decrease in frequency of rotation. After that, not touching the quantity screw, turn the quality screw that frequency of rotation has fallen to 150 rpm, i.e. It became equal to the minimum. All operations on regulation are desirable for spending with a tachometer.

The tuning screw of quantity closed with gag, influences pauperization of a mix at the moment of opening throttle shutter in a transitive mode.

For check of its adjustment it is necessary to increase very smoothly frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine and to watch character of increase of frequency of rotation. If obvious signs of extra pauperization mixes ("failure") are observed, the screw it is necessary to turn on 1/4 turns. At smooth work of the engine it is possible to try to impoverish a mix, turning on the screw and to find its such position which will be on failure border that will provide the minimum expense of fuel in a transitive mode. If new position of the arranged screw causes "failure" or jerk at work idling, it is necessary to correct again position of the screw of quality, having executed definitive regulation of system of idling.

In practice there are cases when the engine with carburettor "Ozone" even after careful adjustment of system of idling works unstably on different modes. It occurs because of position emulsion tubes of the main portioning device. Tubes are in an antechamber partition of the carburettor and have four numbers of apertures on a vertical: two opposite numbers on four apertures and two perpendiculars it of a number on two apertures.

At assemblage of the carburettor of a tube occupy in the nests any position. If they orientate so that a number from four apertures has been directed strictly on the target channel of the chamber (it is designated by directing inflow to diffuser the carburettor) the engine starts to work considerably stable and with the best acceleration performance.
